Anvitition to Short Film Making

National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad has announced a competition in the Short Film category coined as Alpavirama 2011. I want to invite those who have creativity and can make the Short Film, I have a very good story that meets the purpose best.

Paul the Octopus Predicts Spain to Win the 2010 FIFA Final



An octopus famously known as Paul predicts Spain to beat Holland in FIFA final to be played on July 12, 2010.

According to reports available with us, the eight-legged octopus famously known as Paul has predicted that Spain will defeat Netherlands (Nederland) in FIFA World Cup final to be played on July 12 in Johannesburg. Paul a football oracle has successfully predicted each of Germany's results at the 2010 World Cup, and in his life he has been wrong only once.

Typically, Paul has also caused a culinary change with his popularity gained through correct predictions. Many hotels and restaurants are supposed to remove octopus from their menus out of love to the oracle. Spanish chef Jose Andres promised via twitter to remove octopus from his menus if the Paul's choice of Spain winning the semifinal turned out to be true.
